How it all started….
Sewing has been a part of my life since around the age of 10 when I started needlework classes at school. In my late teens/early twenties I enjoyed making my own unique outfits. Then when I became a mum I made clothes for my 2 boys.
As they got older and my life busier, my sewing machine was put away and it didn’t really resurface until 2013 when the Great British Sewing Bee aired on BBC 2. This got me started again; watching it and thinking “I can make that!” Then some friends at work found out I could sew and I made some bags and aprons for them. From there my little hobby took off, making bits and pieces for friends, then making enough to have a stall at the local Christmas Fair….
What started as a hobby has now turned into a small business and is now located in France. Every product is handmade, offering something unique and beautifully made, the perfect gift or a treat for yourself. Items can be personalised and requests can be made. If you have an item in mind, please contact me at Crafty Gifts and I will do my best to bring your idea to life.
